Army lab developing 3-D printer for buildings

The U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center’s Construction Engineering Research Laboratory is developing on a way for the Army to print concrete structures. The Automated Construction of Expeditionary Structures (ACES) project is developing the capability to print custom-designed expeditionary structures on-demand, in the field, using locally available materials and minimum personnel.
